Day 1: Arrival in Tbilisi
Arrival in Tbilisi International Aiport. Transfer to the hotel.
Overnight in a hotel in Tbilisi.

Day 2: Tbilisi
A free day in Tbilisi. You can explore this vibrant capital easily by foot on your own. Wonder in the old districts of the city which are structured like terraces, as well as take a walk in the narrow streets to enjoy colorful houses, patterned balconies and wonderful samples of modern architecture. Start your walk from Metekhi church (13th century) facing the magnificent views over old Tbilisi. A stroll along winding little streets takes you to the main sights of the city. Afterwards enjoy the panoramic views of the whole town and through the ancient Narikala fortress (4th century). And why not take a bath in the historical domed sulphur bath area- connected with the name of our city. Finally the Golden Fund of the historical museum will prove the fact that Georgia is truly the land of the Golden Fleece (museum is closed on Mondays). Overnight at a hotel in Tbilisi.
Day 3: Tbilisi-Gombori pass-Gremi-Kvareli-Sighnaghi
Today you travel in Kakheti region famous for being wine making area, as well as associated with welcoming hospitality. Here you can see both  snowy Caucasus mountains and fertile valleys. Firstly you visit Gremi Architectural Complex (16th century). For lunch you will visit a local family, where we become familiar with the local peasants life. Then, drive to Sighnaghi.
Day 4: Sighnaghi-Mtskheta-Stepantsminda
You drive to visit the ancient capital and religious centre of Georgia – Mtskheta (3000 years old) and see its historical places: Jvari church (6th century) and Svetitskhoveli Cathedral (11th century). Both Jvari and Svetitskhoveli are UNESCO World Heritage sites. Afterwards drive up the famous Georgian Military Highway (leading to the Georgian-Russian border). On the way visit Ananuri architectural complex (17th century), the two churches and the fortress overlook the Zhinvali water reservoir. The carvings on the churches are one of the best samples of the Georgian art. The drive is very scenic through high Caucasus Mountains. Overnight at a hotel in Stepantsminda.
Day 5: Stepantsminda-Gergeti Church-Stepantsminda-Sno Valley-Stepantsminda
In the morning we will walk up (2,5 hours) through the picturesque valleys and woodland to Gergeti Trinity Church located at 2170m. If weather permitting, we may catch a glimpse of one of the highest glaciers in the Caucasus – Mt Kazbegi (5047m). Free time for lunch break in Stepantsminda. Afterwards, we travel to visit village Sno. Return to Stepantsminda. Overnight in a hotel in Stepantsminda.

Day 6 Stepantsminda-Gori-Uplistsikhe-Akhaltsikhe
In the morning you will drive to visit the town of Gori – the heart of Kartli region and its historical places: Uplistsikhe Cave Town (1st millennium BC), that’s the place where the Great Silk Road used to pass. Photo stop near Stalin’s museum. Then drive to Akhaltsikhe. Visit Rabath castle - recently renovated, where we`ll get acquainted with rich history of the region and will travel in the past. Dinner and overnight at a family hotel in Akhaltsikhe.
Day 7: Akhaltsikhe – Vardzia – Bavra(border) – Gyumri
Drive to Vardzia and visit the 12th century cave town complex, which is built during the reign of Queen Tamara. The complex used to have 13 floors, carved in the mountain. Then, drive to the Georgia-Armenia Bavra border. (B/-/-) Meeting at the Armenia-Georgia border Bavra. Change transportation. Drive to Gyumri. City tour in the second largest city of Armenia, Gyumri. The most indigenous architecture preserved from 19th century is here to take you to a historical trip of Alexandrapol, one of the most splendid towns of its time. You will have a real cultural experience that tell the story of the city, its talents and its lifestyle. Overnight at the hotel in Gyumri.
Day 8: Gyumri – Echmiadzin - Zvartnots - Yerevan
After breakfast drive to Armavir region. Visit Echmiadzin, the spiritual center of all Armenians and the seat of the Armenian Catholicos. Echmiadzin Cathedral is the oldest standing churches in Christendom built in 303 AD over a pagan fire altar. This landmark is also protected by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. Drive to the ruins of Zvartnots (7th century) which is listed as a World Cultural Heritage Site by UNESCO. The Temple used to a splendid monument of Armenian architecture. Long while ago, the earthquake ruined the temple and now even in ruins the temple impresses the visitors.  Drive to the capital city Yerevan. Overnight at the hotel in Yerevan.

Day 9: Yerevan – Garni – Geghard – Yerevan
After breakfast start city tour around Yerevan. Sightseeing of Republic Square, Opera House, Swan Lake, Cascade Complex, an open-air modern art museum with famous exhibits. Climbing the huge stair, you will get to Victory Park from where it opens a unique view of the city.   Drive to the village of Garni. The citadel and pagan temple of Garni is a picturesque monument of the Hellenistic period and an impressive piece of ancient Armenian architecture. Northeast of Garni, higher up the gorge of the Azat River, there is a magnificent monument of medieval Armenian architecture - Geghard monastery inscribed in UNESCO World Heritage list. Geghard is another incredible ancient Armenian monastery, partly carved out of a mountain. Drive back to Yerevan. Overnight at the hotel in Yerevan.
Day 10: Yerevan-Khor Virap-Areni cave-Noravank-Yerevan
Sightseeing tour to Khor-Virap monastery the importance of which is connected with Gregory the Illuminator, who introduced Christianity to Armenia. It is a wonderful masterpiece situated on top of a hill. It is a pilgrimage place where every year a lot of tourists and native people visit. It looks like a castle where everybody has the hint to sit and dream while admiring the beauty of the church. The highlight is the best view to the biblical Mt. Ararat. Continue tour to Noravank monastery-religious and cultural center of 13th c. It is situated in a narrow gorge which is known for its` tall, sheer, brick red cliffs, directly across from the monastery. The beauty of this monastery is appreciated by thousands of visitors not only because of its` architecture and history, but for its harmony with surrounding fabulous nature. On the way back visit Areni cave, where the archeologists found the early known leather shoe and a winery. Drive back to the capital city. Overnight in Yerevan.
Day 11 Yerevan-Lake Sevan-Dilijan-Haghartsin-Yerevan
After breakfast drive to the high-mountainous Lake Sevan – the emerald of Armenia-famous resort. Sevan Lake is the second largest alpine freshwater lake in the world and the biggest in the Caucasus. Sightseeing in Sevan peninsula with Sevan Monastery (8-9 cc). Continue tour to Dilijan- one of the most important resorts of Armenia, often referred to as the "Little Switzerland" of Armenia. Start exploring Dilijan, one of the most important resorts of Armenia, often referred to as the "Little Switzerland" of Armenia. Historic Sharambeyan Street, en ethnographic center, has been preserved and maintained as an "old town," complete with craftsman`s workshops, a gallery and a museum which might be interesting to explore. Proceed to 13th century monastery Haghartsin. It is a magnificent pearl warmly embraced within the green pearl of nature – this is how Haghartsin monastery and its surrounding landscape appear to visitors. Drive to Yerevan. Overnight in Yerevan.
Day 12 Departure
Transfer to the airport and departure.
